In keeping with the rich cultural heritage of the Arabian Gulf, we make the traditional kandura. You can have it in several styles and in an array of fabulous fabrics but we stay true to our motto:

"Tailored Tradition, Crafted for You".

THE KANDURA PACKAGE

Our kandura and abaya packages start at AED 2,000 and include:

A custom made kandura in the Emirati, Kuwaiti, Qatari or Saudi style
One Faneela (an inner shirt worn under the kandura)
One Woozar (an undergarmet similar to a skirt, which is the bottom half and worn under the kandura)
An edited, social media video of the whole experience
An authentic arabic experience curated by BASMNYC, it will include coffee, dates arabic incense and our full hospitality.

Our Process

We have streamlined the process with you at the center of it all.

Here are the four easy steps:

1. Booking: Simply whatsapp, call or message on on our socials @24hourkandura with a place and time. We can meet you anywhere.

2. The Consultation: We arrive take measurements, show you fabric and style options. You can receieve the experience at this point or during the delivery. Payment is made.

3. Delivery: 24 later you receive your kandura along with dressing and mastery, you learn about the culture and how to wear and maintain your kandura

4. Share: Within 24 hours of delivery you receive an edited video of the whole experience.

FAQ

Got questions? We're here to answer them. Our team works around the clock to make every experience worth repeating.

How long does the fitting take?

The actual fitting and fabric selection could take between 15 - 20 minutes. The authentic arab welcome 10 - 15 minutes and the dressing and mastery when we deliver is about 30 minutes.

If you are combining both the arab welcome with the dressing and mastery portion of delivery, you will need about 50 minutes.

What payment methods do you accept?

Can i request specific alterations to my kandura?

Absolutely yes. We are a bespoke service and your kandura is tailored for YOU. We take our job seriously and if for any unforseen reason you require us to; we will, at no additional cost and as fast as we can.

What is included in my kandura package?

1 Faneela - a white undershirt similar to a white tee
1 Woozar - a banded white undergarmet worn around the waist
1 Custom Kandura
1 Gootra - traditional headgear (usually white or red)
Custom edited video of the experience

You just don't own a custom kandura; you own a story!!!

Do you have options for women or kids?

We do have kandura for kids.

We are working on women's version - an abaya and jelabiya version which will be available soon.

Is it necessary to book an appointment, or can i just visit a location?

Due to the demand and the logistics involved, you must book an appointment. We have streamlined the process and this allows us to offer our services and deliver on what we say.
